Common questions

Do I pay Carolo anything?

No. You pay Carolo nothing. The car finance specialist or lender pays PJG Financial Limited a commission.

Who provides the finance?

A lender provides any finance, subject to its checks and criteria. A car finance specialist explains your options. Carolo does not lend.

What's the difference between HP and PCP?

Hire purchase (HP) spreads the cost, with ownership after all payments and any purchase fee. Personal contract purchase (PCP) leaves a larger optional final payment to own the car. Alternatively, return it subject to mileage and condition terms.

Can I get car finance with a poor credit history?

It may be possible, but approval isn't guaranteed and rates can be higher. A lender will assess your circumstances and affordability; this guide explains more.

What happens if I miss a payment?

A missed payment can affect your credit record, and your car could be taken back if payments aren't kept up. Contact your lender as soon as you think you might struggle to pay.
